Dominican University - Remote Application Access

Why you might need to run an Application on the Dominican Remote Desktop Server

You may need to run an application that you do not have installed on your own machine such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, SQL Management Studio, or Microsoft Excel. An easy way to do this is to go to the Dominican Tech Center and use one of the machines there. Those machines have access to some of the software packages that you will need.

You can avoid the trip to Dominican by using https://acats2019.dom.edu/html

If you you are successful using the standard Dominican documentation at https://support.dom.edu/TDClient/2074/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=62392, then you do not need to go farther in this document. Otherwise, use one of the videos below.

Special warning for accessing remote desktop from Dominican dormitories:

acats2009.dom.edu will not work if you are connected to DU Public Resident. You MUST be connected to DU Resident in order to access internal Dominican resources such as remoteapp.dom.edu
