Our domain name is dombsb.com (See http://www.dombsb.com). By selecting "GSB622 Students" from the menu at this address, you will be able to see your web site as well as the web sites of your classmates. The Spring 2013 class is using group31, group32, group33, and group34.

Your site is located at http://www.dombsb.com/gsb622.com/groupn (where n is your group number)

You upload to your site using id groupn@northshorechoral.com where n is your group number. Your password is groupn* where n is your group number.Note that the last character of the password is an asterisk (shift 8).

You can find details of defining your site to Dreamweaver and uploading your web pages here. The details match what was presented in the videos. There is an alternative approach using a Flash Drive that is documented here. This alternative allows you to import that site definition from a file in Blackboard instead of typing everything yourslef.

You may want multiple people in your group to update files on the web host. This document explains how update your site safely.

A MySQL database is available for use by this class. It is unlikely that you will need one but if you do, here is how to access it using the phpmyadmin utility. This utility will allow you to define database tables and update them with any data you want.

To access the class database by go to http://www.dombsb.com/phpadmin and use the id nortmil2_dombsb and password dombsb1 (Note: If you make a typing mistake, the system seems not to accept corrections. Try closing the browser and reopening it or use a different browser. Then try again).
